Just once I'd like to see Izzy come into the Guru forum, and make a thread asking us, THE PLAYERS, for help. Nothing wrong with asking the community or at least a representative of the community for advice. In fact, it would work our better for both of us.
And making new maps/mechanics in a competitive game just because you feel like it is pretty fail...

Just to add a bit of credibility to the pictures, can you post the source? If its gw.dat are they new? When were they added? How come noone else has found them and posted in the riverside gw.dat thread?
Has anyone attempted to get official confirmation from Anet themselves?
Sounds like everyone is jumping on the QQ bandwagon before they even question the validity of the rumours...
If these rumours are true... well looks quite interesting to me.

Honestly, - I'm ok with something new even thought I'm skeptical. But it sounds like from the list I read on the guru that they're either taking out some epic maps, like Courtyard? </3 or stacking a ridiculous amount in. And don't take my courtyard. I love courtyard.
But whatever - I'm actually hoping its real. Something to at least change/excite HA for like a week.

And that means what to your average GW player who knows nothing about the gw.dat?
Does it being in the gw.dat necessary mean its being implemented? I asked whether there was official confirmation of this...
didnt they also have stuff about a marketplace or auction house in the dat file... which they then removed when people found it and started rumours that they were adding auction houses? What this says to me is that something being in the dat /= it being real
You also dont mentioned WHEN these pictures were added to the dat file, are they really old or have they been recenly added?
Too many questions and no answers = poor validity and alot of skepticism from me im afraid.

The info comes from shard(who was banned on guru i think).
No idea where he got it from but he seems to have more info than what can be gotten from gw.dat, such as the order of the maps, broken tower coming back.

It takes arenanet 8 months to make a cup of coffee and 16 months to code the Automatic Tournament. The Xunlai Marketplace is still in testing, as are these maps. I don't check the dat file on every update, so I have no idea how long they have been there, but they're there.
Being close to Antechamber and Forgotten Shrines, I'd guess they were added soon after the last map additions, which didn't even happen a year ago.
There's also a huge balance update coming soon, so it makes sense that if they were gonna add new maps, they would throw them in with the skill update at the same time.

Regina said they're delaying one of their other big updates because they thought a game balance was more important. She said that after the last balance update. I searched but couldn't find it. Lots of people know about it tho, it's not exactly a secret a big balance update is coming.

3 way and 4 way maps b4 courtyard just wont work anymore, there are just too little teams playing. i would love it if they implimented these with there "big update" which is probable due to the words "big", and also, nerf sway pl0x

Honestly, more capture points?
I dunno why adding more boring maps will solve anything?
I dont care for the other maps but more Cap point maps will just destroy HA even more....
As said earlier in this thread, we need old maps back,
we need different HoH, HoH is the most important map, that map needs to be funny...
anyways, i dont believe in the new maps.....

I promote any new kind of map, as long as it doesn't favor button-bash, the way Cap Points does, or hyper-split.
Face it, current Cap Points pre-HoH do NOT require skill. Mostly, it comes down to build. If you have enough Fire Eles, this map is a walk in the park.
R/D's and Trappers however do give you more advantage. Sway has a trapper and R/D for EVERY shrine on the map, meaning they could do a 1-1-1-1-1-3 split. You can't kill a R/D one-on-one and a Trapper will simply bomb you off the altar. Sway shouldn't loose on this map.
Cap Points is badly designed, it's not fun and simply shouldn't be in HA. But if Anet wants to insist in fitting in their bad ideas, I would give the advice to: Make the maps ALOT bigger, 2-3x the current size, with the same amoung of shrines. This way, snaring becomes vital, and you can more easily collapse on splits.
Secondly: Either
-CHANGE the 1 minute auto-rez to a 2 minute auto-rez (1 minute makes ANY time kill really pointless, you MIGHT win 20 seconds orso, which is worthless compared to the effort required to killing someone in splits).
OR
-CHANGE it so you CAN get DP per kill. Keep the 1-minute auto-rez, BUT not for people who have 60 DP.
This way kills actually get rewarded decently. Currently, by time-killing someone you would think you get a "free" 50 seconds, but in reality, you don't. The guy will rez on an actual shrine, meaning HE saved about 30 seconds going from one side of the map to the other one. Wether or not he can cap the shrine is of non-importance, because he still got a free-teleport with full HP and energy, aswell as no DP and a slight split advantage now.
